These Brazilian mid-century beauties were designed by Giuseppe Scapinelli in the 1950s. They where crafted from Yvory wood (pau marfim) with exquisitely sculpted spider-like legs. Each table has two tones, black (painted) and the natural color. The square glass top enhances its sculptural shape, making it a striking feature in any living space. The four tapered legs and top structure are black while the arms supporting the glass top are in a natural wood tone. The wood has been restored and is in great condition.
The matching coffee tables in different shapes (Circular top: Lot 398 - Rectangular top: lot 487) are for sale also
