Description
This pair of filing cabinets was designed by Jorge Zalszupin in the 1960s. Each piece consists of two drawers with leather handles and four wooden legs in patchwork style. The rosewood patchwork (collage using several pieces of rosewood, with different tones) was one of Zalszupin’s most characteristic traits. This was an initiative for the rationalization and use of left-over scraps of wood available at the factory. This type of office furniture was meant to address the growing demand for office furniture in the new capital Brasilia.
A flexible set like this could be used as nightstands or side tables.
The pair can be bought together or separate.
