This midcentury Brazilian modern decorative fruit basket was made in Brazil circa 1960. Handcrafted with hardwood, this elegant fruit basket features a circular shape consisting of bentwood and copper pins.
Pieces like this, with a minimalist aesthetic are iconic from Brazil in the sixties, and where catered not only for domestic but for the international markets. This fruit basket will look great as a centerpiece on a dining table, on a sideboard. The wood has been refinished. Besides minor marks of age the piece is in excellent condition.
