This elegantly floating sideboard (or bar), crafted from Rosewood and designed by Carlo Hauner for Forma in the 1960s, showcases a sleek rectangular silhouette. It features two doors and four interior storage compartments with adjustable glass shelves, offering versatile storage options. The original brass keys, characteristic of Hauner’s early wood designs, are included and remain in excellent condition. The hardware is also well-preserved. The wood has been expertly restored, highlighting its vibrant grain and natural veins. Additionally, the manufacturer’s seal is located on the back of the piece.

While their designs for Forma captured the elegance seen in traditional ateliers in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo during the mid-20th century, Eisler and Hauner differentiated themselves by incorporating customized production methods.
