Description

This chair model, known as the "L-shape," exemplifies Joaquim Tenreiro’s modernistic approach to simplifying forms, in contrast to the elaborate European standards. He achieved this with rectangular shapes and no armrests, supported by delicate legs. This stunning pair of armchairs is crafted from Brazilian hardwood and features seats reupholstered in a super soft cotton fabric. Additionally, the wood has been refinished, and despite minor marks of age, the piece is in excellent condition. Owning a piece designed by Joaquim Tenreiro is not just about acquiring a beautiful piece of furniture, but also about possessing a part of Brazilian design history and culture.
