Introduced in 1973, this model, known as the "Commander," was specifically created to cater to Brazil's expanding office furniture market. The chair was initially designed with casters and later a fixed model was produced. The seat and backrest are crafted from a single curved fiberglass volume and have been upholstered with black leather, while the armrests are made with a solid aluminum piece. Not only does this chair exhibit remarkable beauty and thoughtful design, but it is also renowned for its exceptional comfort, featuring a reclining mechanism and a swivel base. Meticulously refinished and re-upholstered in black leather, this armchair is in excellent condition and proudly displays the patrimony plaque beneath the seat (see attached image).
