This solid wood desk with wood veneer features two drawers and rests on two straight legs. It was originally commissioned for Bloch Editors, a media conglomerate in Brazil. This desk has become an iconic piece in Tenreiro’s portfolio due to its refined, elegant, and understated style. About the Designer

Joaquim Tenreiro

Joaquim Tenreiro was born in Portugal in 1906 but spent most of his life and career in Brazil, where he became one of the country's most celebrated furniture designers. He started his career as a cabinetmaker and set up his own furniture workshop in 1943.
