These two chairs feature frames crafted from Caviuna hardwood, while the seat and backrest are upholstered in light blue fabric. Both the seat and backrest are angled slightly backward, ensuring exceptional comfort. The playful look of the light blue fabric complements the wood beautifully. The hardwood has been refinished to appear brand new, and the chairs are in excellent condition overall.

About the Designer

Giuseppe Scapinelli

Giuseppe Scapinelli was born in 1891 in Modena, Italy, but like many of his Italian fellows, he crossed the ocean and immigrated to Brazil where he started a new life. An accomplished painter, ceramist, and sculptor, he began his career as a furniture designer in the early 1950s.
