Description

Crafted in richly figured imbuia and Brazilian rosewood (jacarandá), this sculptural ice bucket highlights the expressive beauty of contrasting hardwoods. Vertical bands of warm, honey-toned imbuia alternate with deeper rosewood, creating a rhythmic composition that emphasizes the vessel’s gently tapered form.

The rounded side handles, carved in solid wood, integrate seamlessly into the silhouette, reinforcing both function and sculptural continuity. A fitted lid with a subtly raised knop completes the composition, maintaining the purity of line while concealing its interior.

Both practical and visually striking, the piece reflects the material sensitivity and formal clarity associated with Brazilian modern design—an object that elevates the ritual of entertaining through craftsmanship and proportion.
