Description

This stunning and functional three-in-one table was created by Moveis Circular in Brazil during the 1950s. It features a structure made in hardwood with a top with ebony finish with chinoiserie motive. This versatile piece serves as a table, sideboard, and coffee table- all combined into one elegant furniture item. It shows minor signs of use and retains the manufacturing seal.

This is a classic example of multifunctional furniture from the 50’s, a time when living spaces became smaller as more people transitioned to apartment living instead of traditional houses.

Moveis Circular

This section focuses on the lesser-known treasures within Brazilian design, which have yet to receive the recognition they deserve from the public. Despite being overshadowed by the iconic designs of Joaquim Tenreiro, Carlo Hauner, Martin Eisler, Jorge Zalszupin and Sergio Rodrigues, these craftsmen and small manufacturers still managed to produce cutting-edge pieces that embodied the "modern values" of form and materiality.
