Description

The beautiful “Curva” chair is made in rosewood and caning and was designed by Joaquim Tenreiro (1906-1992) in 1961/1962. This chair embodies a sophisticated blend of traditional principles and modern design. Its elegant lines, characterized by slender stick backs and delicately carved, pointed feet reminiscent of a ballerina, create a sense of floating within the space.

The rosewood has been superbly refinished, and the caning is in excellent condition. The Curva chair is displayed in our showroom next to a desk also designed by Joaquim tenreiro.

The iconic Curva chair has been featured in countless vintage and contemporary publications, as is featured in the last four images.
