Description
Made by Casa Finland in 1960s Brazil, this square coffee table gives flowers a place within the architecture of the piece. Four broad sections of imbuia form the top around a central opening designed to hold a vase, allowing an arrangement to rise from the middle of the table while leaving the surrounding surfaces free for everyday use.
Below, open shelves provide generous space for books, ceramics, and sculptural objects. Their different orientations make the table engaging from every side, while the low profile keeps the composition grounded in a seating area.
