Description

Produced in Brazil during the 1960s, the Millor sofa reflects the period’s emphasis on material honesty, structural clarity, and comfort integrated directly into form. Rooted in Brazilian modern design principles, the sofa distills modernist restraint into a resolved seating object defined by balance and proportion.

The design is anchored by a solid Brazilian rosewood frame, whose warm grain and tonal depth articulate the structure. Leather upholstery wraps the arm and back elements, reinforcing the sofa’s sculptural outline, while loose seat cushions introduce softness and visual contrast.

The wood has been professionally refinished, and the cushions have been newly reupholstered in a textured off-white fabric. Upholstery work was executed by traditional Brazilian craftsmen with decades of experience working alongside Sergio Rodrigues. Presented in excellent vintage condition, the Millor sofa stands as a refined and materially resolved example of Brazilian modern seating.
