Staging 122 Greenwich Ave
This summer, Found Collectibles had the privilege of staging an exquisite apartment at 122 Greenwich Avenue, located in the heart of New York City’s West Village. As part of the launch, we hosted an intimate event in the space, inviting guests to experience our vision firsthand. In an immersive showcase of how Brazilian Mid-Century design can bring warmth, and sophistication to modern interiors.

Our goal with this project was to demonstrate how historical furniture can be seamlessly integrated into a contemporary home, creating an aesthetic that is both elegant and livable. The response was overwhelming: the apartment went under contract less than a week after our opening, a testament to the power of thoughtful staging and design.

Situated in One Jackson Square Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox, the apartment is framed by floor-to-ceiling windows in nearly every room, filling the home with natural light. At the heart of the living area, Gillon’s “Jangada” lounge chair and Scapinelli’s “Acqua” coffee table act as sculptural anchors, their dark woods and graceful forms elevated by the brightness of the sunlight pouring through the windows.

The living room also features a Camel Cimo’s Sofa with Rosewood support structure and accents, and Scapinelli’s curved armchairs, upholstered in soft bluish gray, provide a quiet contrast to the room’s darker wood tones and natural leathers; creating a palette that is both grounded and atmospheric. This mix of tones, textures, and curves created a space that feels serene yet richly layered. Our intention was to show how historical design, when thoughtfully selected, can seamlessly inhabit a modern home.

When designing the bedrooms we stuck with the same design language and color palettes. The first bedroom features a Geraldo De Barros desk in Rosewood and Iron and the matching armchair in black iron and two-tone leather. The other bedroom features a floating Rosewood sideboard with striking Rosewood veneer by Carlo Hauner, as well as a Rosewood dresser and stool by Forma, and a reclining lounge chair in the corner. The pieces in these rooms are all very elegant but also serve a purpose to make the most of the space.

To celebrate the completed space, we hosted an intimate event at the apartment, inviting guests to experience the design firsthand. The evening featured an immersive walkthrough of the residence and a short film capturing the atmosphere of the night, available below.
The response was overwhelming: less than a week after the event, the apartment went under contract, affirming not only the emotional power of the design but also the impact of strategic, thoughtful staging.
At Found Collectibles, we believe that great design tells a story. This project at 122 Greenwich Avenue was a testament to the enduring appeal of Brazilian modernism and the transformative role of interiors that are both curated and lived in.
