Set of 6 Rustic Stools in Wood, Unknown, 1960s - Lot 765

Description

Author Unknown - A vintage set of six sculptural stools, meticulously handcrafted from tree trunks and featuring organic shapes. This furniture style, known as "Denuncia," originated in Brazil during the 1970s to highlight the issue of deforestation in the Atlantic Forest (Mata Atlântica). Importantly, the wood used for these stools comes from repurposed materials that would have otherwise been discarded. The stools have been polished, cleaned, and are in excellent condition. Additionally, there is a matching table available as lot 764 as is shown in the last two images.
