Description
This “Tres Pes” three-legged chair is made with the combination of two high quality Brazilian hardwoods, Brazilian rosewood (Jacaranda) and Ivorywood (Pau Marfim). Each species of wood can be seen in the different colored stripes, which has been expertly refinished. The unique structure of the armchair is seen in the curvature of the seat, which reflects its Brazilian native roots. It can be interpreted as a mix between a hammock and a traditional tribal wood bench. Although the chair has been around for more than seventy years, it is still in excellent condition. This is a true collector’s item that will only appreciate in value with time.
