Presenting a sculptural and elegant set of six dining chairs, each boasting a sculpted backrest and curved legs and seat. The set is entirely made of the finest Caviuna wood, a favorite wood of Giuseppe Scapinelli and the seat is in the original fabric.The Caviuna frames have been expertly refinished and remain in excellent condition. Originally from a private residence in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil’s former capital, these chairs exude sophistication and timeless allure.

About the Designer
Giuseppe Scapinelli
Giuseppe Scapinelli was born in 1891 in Modena, Italy, but like many of his Italian fellows, he crossed the ocean and immigrated to Brazil where he started a new life. An accomplished painter, ceramist, and sculptor, he began his career as a furniture designer in the early 1950s.
