Description

This set of three chairs is made with a Brazilian rosewood (also known as jacaranda) structure with the seat and backrest being made with hand-woven cane. The boldness of the high-quality rosewood is eased by the cane backrest and seat, giving it a light and adaptable feel. During the restoration process, the three chairs were disassembled to understand their condition and to restore them following Tenreiro’s technique. After reinforcing the structure, the wood was refinished and besides the marks of age, the chairs are in excellent condition.
