Description

Back in the fifties, most of the high-end furniture was created for wealthy patrons as a special request. This is the case for this pair of armchairs which belonged to a private residence in Teresopolis, a Brazilian city well-known for its modernist architecture. The pair of armchairs is made with a hardwood structure with ebonized legs, springed seats, and leathered backrest. The wide and spacious seating of these chairs makes them very comfortable. The wood has also been refinished and the seats have been reupholstered by one of the best upholsters in Brazil. In addition, the chairs have the "Tenreiro Arquitetura de Interiores SA" manufacturing seal, which can be seen by opening the zipper underneath the seat (as seen in the pictures).
