Spectacular pair of armchairs designed by Giuseppe Scapinelli in Brazil in the 1950’s. The set features a hardwood structure (completely reinforced), four delicate legs and a new light gray ultrasuede upholstery. Equally as beautiful is comfortable and the matching sofa is lot 525 which can be purchased separately.

About the Designer

Att. Giuseppe Scapinelli

Giuseppe Scapinelli was born in 1891 in Modena, Italy, but like many of his Italian fellows, he crossed the ocean and immigrated to Brazil where he started a new life. An accomplished painter, ceramist, and sculptor, he began his career as a furniture designer in the early 1950s.
