These impressive armchairs, attributed to designer Giuseppe Scapinelli, are expertly crafted from Caviuna wood and caning. Each armchair showcases a captivating main structure, comprising two impeccably carved slabs of solid Caviuna caning at its center (Note: The caning has been recently replaced for optimal condition). The graceful curves of the arms and legs lend an air of elegance and lightness to the piece. Should you desire additional comfort, custom pillows can be provided upon request.

Att. Giuseppe Scapinelli

Giuseppe Scapinelli was born in 1891 in Modena, Italy, but like many of his Italian fellows, he crossed the ocean and immigrated to Brazil where he started a new life. An accomplished painter, ceramist, and sculptor, he began his career as a furniture designer in the early 1950s.
