This exceptional armchair, crafted by renowned Brazilian designer Cimo in the 1950s, showcases an exquisite sculptural form and is constructed entirely of beautiful bentwood.The armchair boasts a tall backrest and a spacious seat rest with gracefully curved ends. Underneath the seat, remnants of the original manufacturer's seal can be found, adding to the authenticity of these pieces. This bentwood armchair has been expertly refinished and, despite minor signs of age primarily seen in the legs, remains in excellent condition.

Móveis Cimo was created by Jorge Zipperer e Willy Jung, in 1913, Santa Catarina, Brazil. From the 1930s to the 1970s Cimo was the largest furniture factory in Latin America. Cimo's history starts in 1921 with a wood boxes factory called A.Ehrl e Cia. and ends in 1982 as a furniture factory, after a lot of names and format changes, as Móveis Cimo S.A.
